Friday, September 8 - We’re heading east to Columbus, Ohio.  Lodging tonight will be at the Drury Inn Columbus Convention Center.

Saturday, September 9 - Start the day with a full hot breakfast buffet at the hotel.  Then we continue on to Washington, DC.  Our lodging for the next two nights is at the Holiday Inn Express.  Dinner is included at Buca di Beppo before we enjoy an Evening Illuminated Tour of the famous Monuments and War Memorials to include: Lincoln, Jefferson Washington, WWII, Korean and Vietnam.  More if time allows.    (B/D)

Sunday, September 10 - Start the day with a full hot breakfast buffet at the hotel before our visit to Arlington National Cemetery.  It is an impressive sight, with seemingly endless rows of simple white headstones. Imposing stones and monuments mark the graves of many individuals or groups. You will enjoy the riding tour, see the Eternal Flame, witness the Changing of of the Guard Ceremony, and tour the Custis Lee House. Morning Washington DC Sightseeing Tour.  The balance of the morning and early afternoon is filled with a narrated tour of Washington, DC. You will see all the famous sights surrounding the National Mall including the White House, U.S. Capitol, Washington Monument and Union Station.  Next, we will tour the new U.S. Capitol Visitors Center and enjoy a Narrated Stroll on Capitol Hill with commentary about the Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and the U.S. Capitol Building. Late afternoon also includes a visit to the Smithsonian Museum of Air & Space. Among the items on display are the Wright Brothers' 1903 "Wright Flyer," and Aviator Charles Linderbergh's "Spirit of Saint Louis." The museum also features the Albert Einstein Planeterium and the Samuel P. Langley IMAX Theater.  Dinner tonight is included at Tony & Joes' Seafood Place. If you’re in the mood for fresh delicacies from the sea, dive into Tony and Joe’s Seafood Place at the Georgetown Waterfront. While enjoying tempting dishes you have spectacular views of the Potomac River, Kennedy Center, Washington Monument, Roosevelt Island, and the Key Bridge.  After dinner, walk through the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a spectacular view of the city from the terrace. Since opening in 1971, the Kennedy Center has continued its efforts to fulfill his vision—presenting the greatest performers and performances from across America and around the world, nurturing new works and young artists, and serving the nation as a leader in arts education.     (B/D)

Monday, September 11 - Breakfast is included at the hotel before we travel to Williamsburg, VA this morning.  Enjoy a day at Colonial Williamsburg beginning with a Guided Tour.  Then your Colonial Williamsburg Admission Ticket provides access to Historic Area exhibition sites, museums, trade shops and Revolutionary City programming during the afternoon.
Check into your Williamsburg hotel, the Hampton Inn, for a two night stay. Dinner tonight is included at the Whaling Company. Enjoy local seafood & steaks served in this old-school eatery designed like a New England boathouse.  (B/D)

Tuesday, September 12 - After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for our Jamestown Settlement Guided Tour.  Thirteen years before the Pilgrims landed in Massachusetts, after a four-and-a-half-month voyage to Virginia, a group of 104 English men and boys established a settlement on the banks of the James River. Located adjacent to the original site, this living-history museum offers
full-scales re-creations of a Powhatan Indian village, three 1607 ships and colonial fort. Learn the REAL story of Pocahontas.  Guided tour at Jamestown Settlement is led by a trained guide, highlight each museum's exhibition galleries and outdoor living -history area.  These hands-on, inquiry-oriented based tour encourage participants to handle reproduction objects, interact with costumed historical
interpreters, and explore museum galleries and re-created outdoor settings.
Then visit the new American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, replacing the Yorktown Victory Center, will be among America’s foremost sites that tell the story of the nation’s founding. Through comprehensive, immersive indoor exhibits and outdoor living history, the new museum will offer a truly national perspective, conveying a sense of the transformational nature and epic scale of the Revolution and the richness and complexity of the country’s Revolutionary heritage.
Tonight enjoy a Colonial Tavern Dinner featuring a traditional meal, sumptuous desserts, and after-dinner cordials in surroundings an 18th century traveler would recognize.  After dinner, enjoy a free evening to stroll through the village or do a little shopping.    (B/D)

Wednesday, September 13 - After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Lexington, KY. Check into the Holiday Inn Express Lexington for an overnight stay.  Dinner is included at Cracker Barrel this evening.  (B/D)

Thursday, September 14 - After breakfast at the hotel, we continue back to Missouri.   (B)

$1,560.00 per person - Double Room
$2,100.00 per person - Single Room
$1,460.00 per person - Triple Room

Deposit of $300.00 due upon reserving.  
Balance due by August 2, 2017

Cancellation Policy/Refunds

If you must cancel on a 1 day tour and it is within 10 days of departure, refunds will be based on deposits returned to Mid-American Coaches prior to trip departure.  We do however, allow you to get another person to fill your seat.   If  we have a wait list, we will try to fill the seat from our wait list.  If we do not have a standby list, you will not receive a refund.
Once final payment (30days prior) is made on multi day trips 2 or more days,  cancellation of passengers will have to be filed on the cancellation insurance that is available  for all multi-day tours.  No insurance is sold on 2 day trips.
If you have elected to not purchase the insurance, Mid-American Coaches has the right to retain any monies paid by customer.  If this seat is resold, then at that point you may receive a refund.
Any fly/international/rail/cruise tours will have exceptions that will be covered at the time of booking.
If you are forced to leave a tour anytime after departure, refunds will be based on monies that are recoverable.  Refunds cannot be made for unused motorcoach transportation.
