With rest & meal stop enroute, we overnight in the Columbus, OH area at the Drury Inn & Suites.  Dinner is on your own this evening.
Friday, September 8
After breakfast, we travel to Niagara Falls.  This afternoon we arrive in Niagara Falls - one of the world’s most breathtaking tourist attractions, with the spectacular Falls, which divide Canada and the U.S.  At night they are illuminated.  Our hotel for the next two nights in Niagara Falls, NY, is the Holiday Inn.  After dinner on our own, we will have a free evening to visit the Canadian side of the Falls if you have a passport.  (B)
Saturday, September 9
This morning we will visit the Made in America Store.  It is the only brick and mortar general merchandise store in the country that exclusively sells 100% American Made Products – down to the packaging. The Made in America Store opened in 2010 and moved to it’s new location spring 2016. This afternoon we take a thrilling ride aboard the Maid of the Mist.  The first Maid of the Mist was launched in 1846 as a ferry service between the Canadian and American sides, pre-dating by two years the construction of the first Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge at the site.  However, by 1854, the ride became a tourist attraction instead with the launch of more luxurious boats.  After a drive to Goat Island for touring, we will enjoy an included dinner this evening at the Top of the Falls Restaurant.   (B/D)
Sunday, September 10
This morning we depart for Vermont and the Trapp Family Lodge.  The Hills are Alive… with the fresh smell of the north-country air!  Senses are heightened by spectacular rural settings with picturesque countryside colors of red barns, green pastures dotted with black and white cows. Arrive to the charming village of Stowe, VT and check into famous Trapp Family Lodge for a relaxing two night stay. Upon arrival, take some time to freshen up before we gather for a History Tour.  Tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Three-Course Dinner at the Lodge.  (B,D)

Begin with a visit to the Cabot Creamery in Cabot VT. Take a guided tour into the working plant and see how the “Best Cheddar in the World” is made. Then it’s on to Morse Sugar Farm where we’ll enjoy a maple sugaring presentation followed by a traditional sugar on snow.  Then it’s onto Montpelier; Vermont State Capital for a tour and visit through the State Capitol Building. We’ll finish off the afternoon with a visit to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream for a tour and tasting.  Later, we’ll return to the Lodge and enjoy another savory Dinner.   (B/D)
Tuesday, September 12
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before we check out and enjoy another day touring through the Green Mountains. Enjoy a visit to the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry - a truly unique place unlike any other! A friendly Quarry guide will greet us for a private tour around the 50-acre, 600 foot deep quarry of the oldest stone on earth. Continue on for a picture stop to Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s ‘Little Grand Canyon’.  Then visit the quintessential New England village of Woodstock for lunch on our own. Continue on for a visit to the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site, one of the best preserved presidential birthplaces in the Nation. Plymouth Notch is virtually unchanged since the early 1900’s.  This rural village includes the homes of Calvin Coolidge’s family and neighbors, a general store, church, cheese factory and the 1924 Summer White House office. Later today, we’ll check into the Mountain Top Inn for a relaxing night’s stay.  Enjoy the Inn’s spectacular views of the Green Mountain National Forest and Lake. Take some time to settle in before enjoying a delicious dinner at the Inn.       (B,D)
