Enjoy this "windshield" driving tour aboard the comfort of your motorcoach. Unique park-like squares, cobblestone and brick streets, mansions and row houses are shaded by Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Some walking required. Next, we will enjoy the Savannah History Museum Guided Tour. The Savannah History Museum showcases the city's history from its founding in 1733 to the present day, and has everything from an interactive component about Native American cultures to a 1902 Crestmobile, a car that pre-dates the Ford Model A. Visitors can learn about the Revolutionary War in Savannah or see Johnny Mercer's Oscar and Grammy awards.  Then we are off to our Savannah Riverboat Dinner Cruise. The 400 passenger River Queen and the 600 passenger Georgia Queen are replicas of the boats that once operated upon the rivers of America. Each operates under United States Coast Guard regulations and conforms to rigid requirements for passenger safety. The vessels are air conditioned and heated for year round comfort. Dinner and an unforgettable view of Savannah are just a few of the evening's highlights.  Spend two nights in Savannah.   (B/D)

Tuesday, March 20 - After breakfast at the hotel we will tour the Juilette Gordon Low House. The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace is perhaps the only “house museum” in the nation created specifically for girls to enjoy—though it is loved by everyone! At this unique house museum, owned and operated by Girl Scouts of the USA, visitors can trace the arc of Juliette Gordon Low’s life and the Girl Scout Movement she founded.  Next, we will enjoy Free Time on River Street. River Street is a glittering, multi-faceted gem along the broad Savannah River. The century old buildings, once cotton warehouses, have been converted to antique shops, distinctive boutiques, spectacular galleries, quaint brew pubs, fabulous restaurants, unique nightspots, elegant inns and hotels. Bustling with welcoming hospitality, it’s also the place to see Savannah from the river that made her by taking a cruise or watching ships from around the globe sail into one of the busiest ports in America. This evening we will have Dinner At The Pirate's House. Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.
After dinner we will partake in a Trolley Ghost Tour. The evening hours are upon you. Unseen spirits stroll among the living in the streets and squares of Savannah - "America's Most Haunted City". Ghosts & Gravestones is a mix of some of Savannah's darker side with a good dose of humor.   (B/D)
